Reading Central District This is the district in Scouting to which we belong. There are about 12 Groups in this district. The area runs through the centre of Reading, from Shinfield in the South to Emmer Green and Caversham in the North. Their web page is changing & we’ll add the link as soon as its up and running.	Berkshire Scouts We belong to Royal Berkshire County. Their web page is www.berkshirescouts.org.uk Berkshire Scouts runs a Hike each year for Scouts and Explorers. It’s a great challenge. Scouts Hike 15 miles and Explorers Hike 28 miles. It’s a tough but rewarding day. More information on the hike can be found at www.hike.org.uk
